Common questions about snow shoveling.
Do you come out after every snowfall, or only big storms?
We come out after every meaningful snowfall — typically anything over two inches. Worcester gets hit with nor’easters and lake-effect snow from November through March, so we stay on top of it throughout the season. If a storm drops less than two inches and refreezes, we’ll still come salt the icy spots.
Do you shovel by hand or use a snowblower?
Both, depending on the job. We use a snowblower on longer driveways and wider areas, and hand shovel the tight spots — steps, narrow walks, porches, and anywhere the machine can’t get to cleanly. Either way, the surface gets cleared and salted before we leave.
Do I need to sign a seasonal contract, or can I call you after each storm?
We can work either way. A seasonal agreement guarantees you’re on the list before the first flake falls and is the easiest option for most homeowners. If you’d rather call after each storm, we’ll do our best to fit you in, though availability during a major snow event can be tight. Just reach out before winter to talk through the options.
